Ron has had the good fortune to work with extremely talented people throughout the years. He has used his extensive network he’s built over two decades to assemble a top-notch team. These artists and marketers each bring a unique set of experiences and talents to help Blade Ronner Media clients achieve amazing results (and have fun while doing it).
Ron Dawson | President & Lead Content Strategist
Ron combines an eclectic mix of experience from a 25+ year career working for large companies and small. From Vice President of the Movie Magic line of software, to business marketing manager for Intuit’s Quicken, to running a successful video production agency for nearly 20 years, there are few industries and disciplines in which he is not comfortable. Just prior to starting Blade Ronner Media, as managing editor and senior content manager of Frame.io’s blog, he helped it grow to become one of the most respected in the industry. As the lead content strategist, he works with Blade Ronner clients to create results-oriented content, from blog posts to podcasts.
He’s a prolific writer on Medium, has written for numerous industry websites and magazines, is co-author of ReFocus: Cutting Edge Strategies to Evolve Your Video Business, and most recently the author of a satirical memoir (soon to be published). Once upon a time, he even used to dance on a semi-professional Lindy Hop swing dance troupe. (If you’re feeling lucky and have more time to kill, read this).
